We are pleased to announce a new agreement between the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation and the Ukrainian World Congress, an international non-governmental organisation that coordinates the activities of Ukrainian communities in the diaspora and represents the interests of more than 20 million Ukrainians from more than 60 countries. The agreement was signed in June 2024 during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 (URC2024).
As part of this cooperation, solar power plants will be installed for four schools in Ukraine, which will ensure their energy independence and environmental sustainability. Pryluky Gymnasium No. 1 named after Heorhii Voronyi, Bobrytskyi Lyceum, Nemishaiivskyi Lyceum No. 2 and Academic Lyceum "Intellect" will be equipped with hybrid solar power plants with energy storage systems that will guarantee stable energy supply and promote environmental education of the younger generation.
This cooperation allows our Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation to significantly expand the opportunities for implementing energy independence and environmental awareness projects and ensure secure energy supply to Ukrainian schools, which is extremely important in the current circumstances.
