On September 22, a momentous event took place. The official opening, within the framework of the "100RESforSchools" project, of Chernihiv School No. 3, which repeatedly suffered from Russian aggression.
On this day, we saw the results of our work, namely: the solar station, which is located on the roof of the school. This station is equipped with energy conservation systems that will allow the school to function even when the main source of electricity is cut off, providing independent power for 4 hours.
Some technical characteristics:
Solar hybrid station with a capacity of 20 kW
The capacity of battery units is 40.6 kWh
The power of 1 module is 455 W
The event was attended by representatives of important organizations and public leaders, including the Italian Embassy, ZCS Azzurro and Menlo, acting head of the Chernihiv City Administration, Head of the Department of Education, school director and technical partner of Unisolar.
Thanks to joint efforts, we have provided Chernihiv School No. 3 with sustainable and environmentally friendly energy that will allow children to learn anytime, regardless of the circumstances. We are grateful to everyone who joined this important initiative!
