Ukraine, 13 May 2024 - The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation continues to be recognised for its efforts in the country's sustainable energy development. We are proud to announce that we have received the second prestigious award - National Energy Globe Award 2023 in the Fire category.
The National Energy Globe Award recognises the most outstanding projects in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy. This award recognises the Foundation's contribution to Ukraine's sustainable energy future, in particular for the 100 Solar Schools project.
The award was presented in person by the Ambassador of Austria to Ukraine Arad Benkö and the Head of the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy in Ukraine Georg Weingartner during the Austrian Business Circle event.
The ENERGY GLOBE Award is an annual environmental prize awarded in more than 180 countries by the non-profit organisation ENERGY GLOBE Foundation based in Austria. The award is given for projects that focus on energy efficiency, sustainable development and the use of renewable energy sources. The main goal is to draw public attention to solving environmental problems.
The National Energy Globe Award 2023 is the second prize of our foundation. Last year, the fund was also recognised with the Future of Emerging Europe Award 2023 in the field of green energy.
