We are pleased to announce that the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation has received its third award. This time, our achievements were recognised at the National Competition "Charitable Ukraine-2023". Our organisation was awarded in the category "Charity in the field of ecology and environmental protection" for its contribution to our two key campaigns: "100 Solar Schools" and "50 Solar Hospitals", which aim to ensure energy independence and environmental awareness in educational and medical institutions, contributing to sustainable development and environmental protection in Ukraine.
The award ceremony took place on 20 June 2024 in Kyiv, and the winners were selected in each of the 27 nominations. The competition was founded in 2007 and has been held in the Charitable Ukraine format by the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine since 2012. The contest aims to develop effective socially oriented charity, patronage and volunteering in Ukraine. It promotes public incentives for the best philanthropists, patrons and volunteers, as well as their organisations and practices.
The Foundation has also received global public recognition. In 2023, it received the Future of Emerging Europe Award 2023 in the category "Commitment to providing schools with green energy in war-affected regions". And on 13 May 2024, the Foundation received the National Energy Globe Award 2023 in the Fire category. The National Energy Globe Award recognises the most outstanding projects in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy.
