The President of the World Congress of Ukrainians, Pavlo Grod visited the Irpinsky Lyceum "Mriya"

At the beginning of last week, as part of his visit to Ukraine, the President of the World Congress of Ukrainians, Pavlo Grod, together with his colleagues, visited the Irpinsky Lyceum "Mriya", which Ursula von der Leyen, the Chairperson of the European Commission, noted in her speech, and which became the first within the "100RESforSchools", which the Energy Act For Ukraine Foundation will implement throughout Ukraine from 2022.

The director of the "Mriya" lyceum, Ivan Ptashnyk, gave the guests a tour of the school and talked about how the school is mastering new technologies to improve the conditions of the continuous educational process.

The hybrid solar station installed in the lyceum by the foundation's team allows children to study without flashlights and access knowledge regardless of blackouts. According to the director of the lyceum, the station allows you to use electricity for 8 hours during a blackout.

The meeting with the President of the World Congress was attended by the manager of partnerships of the Energy Act For Ukraine Foundation Anastasia Vereshchynska, and the project manager of the Foundation Andrii Korol, who shared with the guests details about the energy equipment in the Irpin Lyceum "Mriya".

We sincerely rejoice in the interest of the Canadian diaspora in projects for the sustainable recovery of Ukraine and hope to strengthen our cooperation for their further scaling.
