About the Foundation’s Program
The educational program is implemented by the charitable organization Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation and aims to provide children with access to education on sustainable development and green energy through extracurricular educational courses. This initiative seeks to shape a new generation with an active environmental stance, a responsible attitude toward resources, and to promote the use of renewable energy sources.
The Foundation has been conducting educational programs for children in schools since 2023. As of 2025, a total of 996 children from 13 educational institutions have completed the course. More details about the program can be found at the following link.
Course Overview
The course consists of four extracurricular sessions in a hybrid format, each lasting 60 minutes.
The program includes interactive lectures, visual materials, and practical assignments.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certificates and eco-friendly gifts.
Participation of children affected by the russian war
Starting from March 18, 2025, the Foundation will begin accepting applications for the program from vulnerable groups of children affected by the Russian war in Ukraine.
The war has significantly impacted access to education for many children. Children from vulnerable groups often do not have equal opportunities to receive quality education, particularly in sustainable development and green energy. In the context of the energy crisis, such knowledge is crucial for the future generation, helping to build an energy-resilient society.
A special project season will be implemented until May 30, 2025, with financial support from the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).
The content of the course is the sole responsibility of the Foundation and does not necessarily reflect the position of The German Marshall Fund of the United States.
