WHAT WE DO

The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation is a Ukrainian charitable organization founded in 2022 in response to the energy crisis in Ukraine caused by Russia's full-scale war on Ukrainian territory. The Foundation focuses its efforts on equipping schools and hospitals with hybrid solar power plants as part of its initiatives, "100 Solar Schools" and "50 Solar Hospitals."

The Foundation’s mission is to promote Ukraine’s energy independence and foster a responsible and conscious approach among Ukrainians toward energy resource usage, with respect for the planet.

Newly built solar power station helps hospital in Odesa region withstand blackouts

In October 2025, The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation installed a solar power station at the Central district hospital of the Izmail district in Ukraine’s Odesa region. Just one month after commissioning, the system helped the hospital endure a prolonged blackout caused by massive Russian attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.
